The Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration provides oversight and stewardship for the university's administrative functions and services in support of Vice President Carla Ho'a and OSU's leadership team.
Requests for Signature from the Vice President
Please coordinate in advance with the Vice President's Executive Assistant to ensure that your materials can be signed in a timely manner.
Requests and documents should be sent via DocuSign.
- For DocuSign requests, please make Keahi McFadden the first approver, followed by the vice president.
- Use the VPFA's correct name and title:

- Please include background information, evidence of previous reviewers (such as a department head or the Office of General Counsel) and any relevant explanations for the vice president.
Melanie Rose
As Manager of DFA Strategic Initiatives, Melanie Rose supports the vice president on major strategic and administrative initiatives, and oversees division-wide communications. Melanie provides for the logistical and planning needs of the DFA leadership team, assisting the vice president in advancing division and university goals. She collaborates across the OSU community to coordinate DFA work within OSU’s culture of shared governance. Melanie joined the vice president’s office in 2011 and currently serves as a faculty senator. She holds a BA in speech communication with minors in writing and Spanish from Oregon State University.

Chris Holland
Dr. Christopher ("Chris") Holland is currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Strategy and Operations providing strategic leadership within the Division of Finance and Administration. He assists the VPFA/CFO with strategic planning and organizational priorities, collaborating on division activities to ensure operational effectiveness and alignment with the university’s goals and objectives.
